Photographer's Note
This is a Diablo Cajuelo from Santo Domingo's Carnival. This year the carnival was celebrated almost a month late - in march rather than february.
I took this picture at the end of the afternoon and was forced to use flash. They were running in the streets and hitting pedestrians (and photographers) with the Vejiga that you can see on his right hand. It makes more noise than hurt.

Oh man...does this ever take me back. Nothing like Carnival in the D.R. Nice picture, great color and contrast. Very nice.

Hola Eric,
Buena foto, muy colorida. El uso del flash le da mas fuerza a tu objeto principal.
Por aca tambien los payasos usan vejigas en las fiestas patronales.
