Photographer’s Note
I originally posted this photo when I first joined TrekEarth. I've been working on a Travelogue about my trip to Dominica and decided I should really repost this photo with changes suggested in the critiques.
Basically, I gave the photo a tighter crop to eliminate my shadow. I remember not even noticing the shadow until AFTER I posted the photo--shame on me! ;-). I also adjusted the levels to bring out the beautiful coloring of this man's skin.

This is taken along the Indian River. Looks like he's preparing some dinner to take home with him.

Now, we can see you in his glasses :)
Well, I prefer this one lot ! The sharpeness and the saturated colors are great ! I would just have left a little more space in front of him so as to better balance the composition.
But great contribution to TE !

Though the highlights are overexposed, the expression on the guy's face and his appearance, makes it to an amazing environmental portrait.
Great Job

Nice picture, Linda. Great compo!
This is one island I would love to visit but I guess I'll have to wait a while because there are some many beautiful places on this great planet of ours.
