Shopping and a short stop at Roseau on Dominica.

Roseau (is the capital and largest city of Dominica. Its population is 14,847 (2001 census), it is a small and compact urban settlement, located within the Saint George parish and surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, the Roseau River and Morne Bruce. Built on the site of the ancient Kalinago Indian village of Sairi, it is the oldest and most important urban settlement on the island. (Wikipedia)

Hello Achim,

Nice daily life picture with the women to scopping.
Exactly a drink booth of soft fruits, where are the men on this picture Achim, not a job for the men.
Good composition and nice presentation too.

gosto dessas cenas do cotidiano das cidades, e essas barracas nas ruas são bem comuns aqui no Brasil também. Um ótimo registro esse.

angenehm ist es, solche Bilder in diesen grauen, naßen und unfreundlichen Tagen zu sehen. Mir gefällt die Atmosphäre auch ohne besondere visuelle Attraktion.

It is interesting that at most tropical countries, the style of stalls and hawkers selling street side can be so similar, although if one really looks very closely, it can be very different too, especially dress code, architecture, signs and language/words.

But no, this cannot be in Malaysia! :)

Interesting composition to show a professional women in white colar wear purchasing on a simply stall at the road side, good pov to show background architectures, lively shoot, good exposure and lighting shooting under bright sunlight, well done.

Achim,
good daily life capture of this almost unknown place. The contrast between the seller's stand full of tropical fruits and the lady in her office dress is great.
