Photographer’s Note

I looked at this pool and was struck by the sheer beauty of it. You have to clamber down an uneven path in the rainforest to get to it but it is definately worth it. It can be quite dark as it is surrounded by the dense foliage so hense the slow exposure to compliment the colours and to get the 'glass' effect of the waterfall. It is called the Emerald pool. It is a short drive from the city of Roseau. I hope you enjoy the sight as much as I did.

Hi,
It is an interesting way of looking at the fall. I love the colours and the water. The big pointed rock appear to clash with the falling water as it is going the other direction, thus neutralizing its energy and visual impact.
