Photographer’s Note
This is the protected Indian River in Dominica. Pirates of the Caribbean was shot in part at this location. This is a really neat and very mysterious place with crazy plants and critters everywhere. A 40 minute boat ride from the mouth leads to this point, and from here it is too shallow to continue. This is my first attempt at an HDR photo, and I chose this place because the light was so bad - very bright where it broke through the canopy, and very dark where it didn't, and really hazy too.

Hi Daniel,
I d'on't believe this shot has no positive critique yet. I love it. This place looks fantastic and you succeed to take a difficult shot.
Thanks for sharing

i like the way you compose your photos. it's maybe because you take similar images to me:) but with a better result! i also like that you do not frame the photos, and post them as they really are, without any "decoration".
the photo has an interesting depth and fantastic, fable-like colors - very nice shot.
Regards,
Piotr
