Photographer’s Note

For Cuban people it´s very important what happens in the neighborhood...social life is more intense than everywhere else, it seems.

This one was taken at Malecon ocean drive, the "living room" of the Habaneros, in the evening hours the whole city seems to meet there.

Wonderful place and inspiring scene.
Love the quality and light whch actually makes this image!
I also love the croudy wall full of hansome men(surprise!)and great colors.

Hola!
a nice compo with really nice colours and lights. The depth is well managed and it makes the difference for me in this picture. With out this depth it will be a common picture, but now it's really nice.

Great snap of daily life in Cuba. We don't have enough Cuba pictures on TE. You have made some great contributions for Cuba. I hope you have more to post.

Nice warm light here, the human figures in sharp focus and slight blur to the buildings make a great backdrop.

I think there is a bit too much of the bottom of the front wall. I would have cropped it a bit from the bottom and made it kind of panoramic.

An excellent, natural reflection of the people of Havanna enjoying the simple life with friends. I particularly like the contrast of colour and clarity between the people, who are bold in the foreground, and the pastel toned, blurred background. Well seen and well captured.

You found a good theme!
There is again a very beautiful light. It's very sharp and I like very much the composition, with one guy standing in the middle and the others who are sitting down.The depht of field is good. Well done.

Hallo Christian,
immer wieder überwältigen mich Deine Fotos vom einfachen Leben in Cuba... Menschen, die das Leben einfach geniessen, so wie es halt ist, ohne darüber nachdenken zu müssen, wie es sein könnte, wenn... und so weiter, was halt so unseren Alltag vergiftet.
Und jedesmal hauts mich um, wenn ich sehe, wie fein Dein Objektiv die Schärfe regelt!

another very nice daily life, a documentary type photo. I love the warm color here of the sunset, People enjoy relaxing and fishing. The background provides us an essence of La Habana, Cuba. I like also the details and texture of the sea wall. thanks.

all deine Menschenaufnahmen sind super! Es ist schwer sowas perfekt in Szene zu setzen, aber du schaffst es jedes Mal aufs Neue! Was mir hier besonders gefällt ist der Fokus und das warme Licht, super Qualität und klasse Komposition, deine Kubaserie ist wirklich super!

this what you wrote below the pic.. about the social life.. it's so true... relationships between family and friends I think is the one of the most importatnt things in there life...
btw I I was in havana all togehter 6 days and I've never had lucky to have light like here... :(:(
pic is very goog like always in your gallery... it's starting to be boring ;p;p
