Photographer’s Note

A row of apartments in downtown Havana. There seemed to be something going on in all the windows.

I like photographing things which look like they are run down, but show a bit of character. Havana is a lovely city for this type of photo. Take a look at a similar scene of 'urban decay' here:

Wow, Josh. The large version works excellent here. It's a cut view of many people's life. a very interseting photo, you can find so many interesting inside. Very very well done.

A wonderful idea with which to put the panoramic format to use, Josh. The large version is rich in "slice of life" details, and is indeed a very good supplement to your previous posting from Havana. Excellent!

This photo really tells a story about daily life in Cuba. Well thought of to take this shot. I too enjoy delapilated buildings. Not quite in focus, but still a great photo. Well done.

Great PJ shot Josh. I like the pale colors and the different clothes, great that you could so much in one picture, pity that there weren't more people out at the moment.

Well done, Josh, you have created a very interesting and detailed panoramic shot. I like the way that nearly every window is different. This is an excellent daily life shot of Cuba.

Yes, I like just that kind of subject myself, and, as you say, Havana is the place for it. This is a great shot, and I like the way you've cropped it to give a panarama effect. It reminds a lot of the cover to Led Zepplin's Physical Graffiti.
