Photographer’s Note
Streets of Trinidad II
Trinidad was founded in the early XVI century.
It is the city where the Colonial buildings are one of the main attractive things to see, nowadays some of them are used as museums.
There, it seems that the time hasn’t passed by, everything is still as it was five hundred years ago.
Here you can see an old man going home with his donkey. I saw him coming from one street towards the “Plaza Mayor”, were I was standing, without moving myself, I waited for him until he crossed in front of me, and… here are them.
I liked to get a piece of this beautiful “Plaza”, with a part of the life of Trinidad, including some of its citizens.
You can enjoy another typical view of the streets of Trinidad in this link.
Trinidad was declared a world heritage place, for the UNESCO, in 1988.
If you ever go to Cuba, you have to go to visit this lovely and colourful city.
I promise you will never forget it.

Hello Jaume,
As usual, very good work about Cuba. I like this man with his donkey. They give much life to the photo. Beautiful light and colors.
Best regards.

A great daily life shot,Jaume,I like your POV and the way your frame became full of white lines of the guards here and there in excellent contrast with ambient's elements, with a fine graphism, and the man who seems goes slowly with his donkey in the street,
Great composition and I like it very much,Jaume,
Yours

Jo, yo quiero ver la cara del señor... Bueno, que soy un pesadito. Buen resultado y buena foto para pensar: Siglo XXI y en burro. Gracias Jaume, muy auténtica.

Hola Jaume, again those lovely colours characteristic of your Cuba pictures and such a nice and serene composition with the lonely man and his donkey. And all this lined by the beautiful ornate fence. Well done again Jaume!
Regards, Christian

Resulta que se me había pasado. Y voy hoy y me doy cuenta.
Hola Jaume.

Hi Jaume - this is one of the best street shots I've seen from Cuba, the lace like ironwork is beautiful, excellent timing and composition, I really like the total lack of distractions like cars, garbage bins, street numbers, signs etc. that usually pollute street shots.
