Photographer’s Note
Streets of Trinidad
If there is a place for the Colonial Romanticism, this is Trinidad, founded in the early XVI century in honour of the Holy Trinity, with some colonial buildings nowadays used as museums such as the Palacio Brunet and the Palacio Cantero, that were built in its days of prosperity from the sugar trade.
The city was very important for the conquest of the American continent.
At the background you can see the bell tower of the “Convento de San Francisco”, build in the XVII century, symbol of the city.
Trinidad was declared a world heritage place, for the UNESCO, in 1988.
You can’t go to Cuba without visiting Trinidad, when you are there, you really feel as if you had found a great treasure.
I will return...

Hola Jaume, nice photo and some lovely and colouful old houses flanking the street. I like the composition and perspective with the nice house alignment and the street leading the eye to the tower of the church. The light is bright and the colours are very nice. Nice work!

Hello Jaume,
Thanks for your visit and thanks also for your fine work. I like the angle and perspective you took. Color contrast between green tones and blue with a mixture of soft pink. I like the enquadrement you did for composition. Excelent light management, fine colors and sharpness. The people you capture is also a good adition.
Good work, well seen and composed.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend.

Hi Jaume,
nice view of Trinidad, well composed with a good perspective.
I think that it could be a good idea to wait that the cyclist is closer.
Anyway a good shot

Hola Jaume.

Hi Jaume - wonderful colonial architecture and nice busy sky, I hope though they will put those cables underground some day.

Hi Jaume. The title of the shot is certainly appropriate. The composition and depth are both great. I see that it was bright out, perhaps you could reduce that a hair. Nice shot and tfs Jaume!

Hola Jaume
Buen trabajo.
