Streets of Trinidad

If there is a place for the Colonial Romanticism, this is Trinidad, founded in the early XVI century in honour of the Holy Trinity, with some colonial buildings nowadays used as museums such as the Palacio Brunet and the Palacio Cantero, that were built in its days of prosperity from the sugar trade.
The city was very important for the conquest of the American continent.

At the background you can see the bell tower of the “Convento de San Francisco”, build in the XVII century, symbol of the city.
Trinidad was declared a world heritage place, for the UNESCO, in 1988.

You can’t go to Cuba without visiting Trinidad, when you are there, you really feel as if you had found a great treasure.

I will return...
