El Gran Teatro de la Habana

In front of the “Parque Central” square, there is this beautiful present from the Cuban architecture.
Here you can see the facade of the “Centro Gallego”, built by the Belgium architect Paul Beleau, in 1915, it is of Neobaroque style with certain anticipations of the Art Déco. This building was created as the place of social reunion for the Galician immigrants from Spain.
Nowadays it is the place for the “Gran Teatro of La Habana”, with several scenic spaces, the greatest one with more than 2.000 seats.
In front of it, you can see the different types of taxis, all well aligned, waiting for its clients. There are the forties and fifties cars, Coco Taxis (the yellow ones, very typical) and the Bici Taxis, the bikes with three seats, one for the driver, and two behind it for the people.
At the top left corner, you can see a piece of the Capitolio.
