El Malecón

One of the most beautiful sensations you can experience in La Habana is to see how the sun says goodbye to The Malecón, the beautiful great promenade, where a lot of Cuban people use to go every moment of the day especially in the afternoon, to see how the evening pass and the sunset appears and… with it… the sun disappears.
Here you can enjoy a little scene of this nice moment, a group of guys, together, talking about their troubles while are looking how people take a walk.
The building silhouette at the most left side, belongs to the "Hotel Nacional de Cuba", which is a national monument, very known and popular there.

Preciosísima ¡qué ganas de ir a La Habana! En serio, tiene un algo de pasión por la amistad, seguro que en ese contexto la sinceridad es mayor. Además consigues reproducir algo que me llama siempre la atención de esta ciudad y es que hasta la zona de rascacielos de El Vedado (los hoteles que hicieron los gangsters en su momento como El Capri) está como bien colocada en esta ciudad. Jaumita, very well (y con esto si que me voy a Donosti que me estoy despidiendo ya demasiado, por cierto, ordenador sigue roto). Me recuerda a otra foto mía que está entre las favoritas de toda mi vida y que puedes ver Aquí.

Lovely colors and silhouets... Only I think the composition would be a bit better if you remove the silhouet between the houses and the group of young men talking... Anyway a very nice picture... TFS...Ina...

Hola Jaume.
Me gusta mucho ese contraluz, viendo las figuras de los hombres sentados al lado del mar. Tiene algo de melancólico que me gusta mucho (en parte por la composición, con la ciudad de fondo, y la luz, que es genial).
Vamos, que está muy bien.

Nota: el comentario de Miguel me recuerda cierta película de mafiosos en donde incluso están en el hotel "Capri".

Beautiful picture Jaume! Your photo has very good composition and exposure. It will be better if you could clone out the shiny bottle on the concrete embankment.

Preciosa foto de siluetes i tons pastís. M'encanta poder veure la ciutat al fons. El cel és estupend i el moment molt adequat. Bon treball!

Que maravillosa composicion que nos presentas. Las siluetas con ese atardecer quedaron esplendidas, y el dejar a la izquierda parte de la ciudad resulto fenomenal.
