Photographer's Note

General Antonio Maceo was a prominent fighter for freedom for the Cubans at the end of the 19th century.
This huge memorial on Revolution Plaza in Santiago deCuba remebembers him.
The steel structures symbolize 23 machetes, used in the final clash of the general oponents.
