Photographer's Note

The Cathedral in Cienfuegos, Catedral de la Purisima Concepcion, is placed on the square, Parque Marti.
Finished in 1869, colored cathedral has a neo-classical front side with two red bell towers of different heights, three arched doors and stained glass windows of the twelve apostles.
Inside the cathedral has neo-Gothic characteristics and is worth going inside for at least a quick view if you have time

Nella piazza principale di Cienfuegos,
si erge la Catedral de la Purisima Concepción fondata nel 1833 e consacrata come cattedrale nel 1903. Presenta due torri gemelle e finestre policrome francesi con vetrate raffiguranti gli apostoli e un altare con capitelli in stile corinzio.

What a clever idea to capture a reflection in a car roof - I must try that sometime but I'll have to polish my car first!

An interesting note and a finely composed photograph with all elements perfectly arranged in the frame. Lovely colours and perfect exposure and sharpness and I like how the sky, in particular, looks moody and dark in the reflection.

Eccellente immagine! Si fa una fatica boia a capire che il riflesso é su una macchina, perché l'auto non si vede. Uno pensa a una pozzanghera. Invece é il tetto di un'auto, meno male che ce lo spieghi... O sono scema io? Possibilissimo! Tutti gli altri hanno commentato in modo entusiastico, afferrando al volo di che cosa si trattasse! Les reflets sur l'eau sont des atouts à la composition. La distance entre le bassin et la cathédrale donne de la profondeur à l'image. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de la cathédrale. Le ciel nuageux ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Ciao Luciano, un altro colpo magistrale che ha come tema la famosa isola caraibica! Questa mi piace particolarmente per due motivi: il primo è lo spettacolare contrasto di luce e colori tra il cielo minaccioso e la cattedrale, il secondo è il riflesso sul tetto dell'auto che, se fosse stato perfettamente in asse, non avrebbe avuto lo stesso effetto, invece così crea anche una certa dinamica nell'immagine.
Veramente bravo!
