Photographer's Note

Opposed to other beaches in Cuba where one can only find tourists, Playas del Este is very popular among the habaneros, who can frequently enjoy these warm waters thanks to their closeness to the city.
With 8 kilometers of good quality sand, Santa María del Mar is the longest beach of the north littoral of Havana. In Santa María del Mar, tourists can enjoy catamaran rides, rent jet skis, sail boats, rowboats and explore its many other attractions.

IL SILENZIO PRIMA DEL TEMPORALE

A differenza di altre spiagge a Cuba dove si possono trovare solo i turisti, Playas del Este è molto popolare tra i habaneros, che spesso possono godere di queste calde acque, grazie alla loro vicinanza alla città.
Con 8 km di sabbia di buona qualità, Santa María del Mar è la più lunga spiaggia del litorale a nord di L'Avana. A Santa María del Mar, i turisti possono godere di gite in catamarano, moto d'acqua, barche a vela, barche a remi ed esplorare le sue molte altre attrazioni.

Superbe photo où les merveilleux tons pastels du ciel et de la mer se marient subtilement entre eux. J'aime la composition avec cette différence entre la partie droite plus lumineuse et colorée et la partie gauche où les nuages prédominent.

Vorrà dire che per ora mi godo questa bellissima foto, dove il mare ed il cielo si confondono e la spiaggia fa da piacevole intermezzo.

What an idyllic place! And you have captured it perfectly - I think the Cuban tourism people might want to steal this picture!

You have made the most of that wonderful sky in your composition and the line of the beach just invites the viewer to explore the area in detail as far as the horizon. Beautiful well saturated colours, perfect exposure and stunning detail and sharpness.

bonita composición, con un encuadre bien estructurado, en el que podemos apreciar la gran belleza de esta playa, y su contraste conm un cielo fantástico, en una imagen muy profunda y bien iluminada.
Hay una alta calidad cromática en la foto, el cielo y las nubes aportan un alto nivel estético que se combina con el ambiente tropical de la playa solitaria. Todo funciona perfectamente para obtener un gran resultado.

Waouuu, ça donne trop envie de partir là bas. Un cadrage au top, une belle lumière et des couleurs magnifiques. Le ciel est particulièrement bien réussi avec ces différentes teintes et par la place qu'il occupe dans la composition.

looking at this photo compared to alot of your other Cuba shots, it surely has a different atmosphere to it.
Seems like Cuba has a wide range of subjects and scenes.
the expansive oversized sky makes the scene look even larger than it really does.

hai girato mezzo mondo e hai ritratto una serie notevole di posti.
Questo però incanta più degli altri anche grazie alla tua bella ripreasa che fonde piacevolmente cielo e mare in svariate tonalità di azzurro, lasciando al verde della vegetazione il compito di spezzare la monocromia.
Ottimo il taglio quadrato, che io uso spesso ed alegante la cornice che trasforma lo scatto in una stupendo, indimenticabile cartolina.
Buona ed esauriente anche la nota a supporto.
