Photographer’s Note
Walking from the center of Trinidad up the hill, you will certainly pass the house of this boy, Emilio. He said that his dog named Champion also wants to be on the photograph.

Hi Christian,
this is a great one no doubt, charismatic moment with wonderful
colors of the walls,a moment of tenderness.BTW where is your
technical details? I supose that was a very fast shutter speed.
The light I think it was not fantastic,it would have been even
a greater photo.Well done mister,

Hi Christian,
A nice calm photo, with tender colours, and a boy with his best friend. I like how Emilio is gently trying to get Champion to perform, to pose for the camera. Tricks and old dogs and all that :)

Hmm, I wonder how Champion acts when he DOESN'T want to be in the photo?
The contrast between skin and fur textures versus the wall and door is really nice, as are the worn and faded colors.
The fact that Champion's rear end is not showing suggests that he is indeed being dragged into the frame, which is good. But I think the dog's body language would convey it's attitude even if the whole dog were showing, and that might give a more balanced composition. That's a small matter, though, I think the shot is great overall.
Regards, Ken.

Christian- very expressive shot. The boy with his best friend. I love the way the dog (or should I be polite and say 'champion' ;-)) is bowing down to his master.
Today morning itself I witnessed a hilarious scene in a park. A man was quietly practicing 'yoga', when a dog- clearly annoyed at the different and funny postures of the man- started disturbing him. Soon the man ended his activity and the two involved in a game of touch and go. So funny...
Thanks for the image. I loved it.

Hallo Christian,

Hallo Christian,
You have so far a great serie from Cuba, you can be proud on them. A razor sharp image here within an excellent colour setting and light...great eye you have...really good.
Dog a bit cut-off is not my favorite part, but the interaction between the dog (seems he really like this treatment) and the boy is wonderful...

Hallo Christian! LG ... Barbara.

Hi Christian,
Lovely little boy! The expression of the dog is great, it seems so happy!
I regret we cannot see the little dog, hidden behind the arms of the boy. It seems to be a young one:-)
As the big dog is cut, I think I would have tried to cut more, in order to give the impression it was made on purpose, paying attention not to delete the wall, which is a strong element I think. Oh, and nice textures on these walls !

Marianne

"L'alma De Cuba"

Hi Christian,
This way or that, i get a "scalerman" taste from the photo. But that child-dog interaction adds more humane warmth. The best detail here, is that puppy hidden behind the kid. It must be something lovable.

Hello Christian:
Thanks for visiting my gallery and let me know yours.
This photo is very attractive and tender. Given the economic difficulties that arise in the island, even charming situations are to be shared.
Great shot, sharpness and definition, like beautiful shades.
