Photographers Note

An art gallery in Trinidad. Every home has an artist in Cuba since cheap and colourful artworks are sought after souvenir items. I am almosy sure that in the back rooms of this house couple of kids spend a few hours drawing naive pictures to be sold to tourists. In the few painter workshops I visited, I must say that I have come across very unique, daring, much different and less commercial pure-art styles that would be so refreshing for this day and age's stale and banalised art approaches. I owe it to these artists to separate their works from the colourful cheap tourist chaff. This one is here is a sample of a tourist trap; a local home-gallery.
