Plaza Mayor in Trinidad is the historic centre of the town, declared a Unesco world heritage site in 1988.
El palacio Brunet was built in 1812 by José Mariano Borrell y Padrón. It now houses el Museo romántico (yellow building), mostly displaying objects that belonged to the Borrell family. The house has a central balustraded courtyard, and still features the original marble floor, frescoes, and neoclassical decoration. Scanned shot. Source : wiki

Hi Gueguel, An awesome image with blossom flower plants in the FG. I like the colourful look of this picture which adds so much to Happy New Year mood during this time of the year 2014. The vertical format is just perfect to show its beauty. Thank for sharing and Happy New Year

A wonderful shot from your archive. Lovely colors and a nice and compact composition in vertical format with the iron railing in the foreground.

The time past did no better conditions to this scanned picture, Miguel.
Yet, you tried to show a POV over this yard with an archi.-style and colors in good contrast.
But, teeth of time bitten hard on the quality of the paper picture.
Have a nice weekend,

Nice shot of the courtyard of the museum. The colors seem a bit off but it may be due to the age of the medium. I like historic photo.

Brilliant capture of the colors of this place, not only the blue and yellow buildings but also your great idea to include the lead line of the white fence and the bonus colors of the flowers! To top it all off, a beautiful dramatic sky. Your note describes this place as being very beautiful.
Thanks as always

I liked this slice of the urban landscape of this historical town. the colors and details are very interesting and beautiful, it is a pity your camera wasn't so good in that time.
