Photographer’s Note
One of a series of pictures taken between 30 minutes before dawn to 30 minutes after. The colours varied tremendously from deep blue to orange until the sun had risen when the vibrant greens became the predominant colour. A tripod was essential for these photos.

Wonderful scenery Colin, the colours and the light are fantastic! The silhouettes of the trees emerging through the fog and the different levels of forest gradually fading in the mist are stunning. Well done!!!

Really, great colours and a great effect from the sun light, it was a patient job but you get it well. Congratulations!!

i like the colors too but i think that's by far not the strongest feature of this photo (this would work in orange, red sepia or yellow). it's the shadows, the contours, the sky, the mist, and the landscape itself. another one that just goes to show that the early bird....
beautifully captured colin! perhaps just a bit too much black in the bottom for me.

I put you as one of my "favorite" photographers since I love your work. "Dawn at Vinales" is another awesome photo. It is amazing how you are there at the right tome to capture those mists and that color.
