Our 6th sense Photo

Photographer’s Note

Since I started to enhance my passion for photography thanks to the discover of TE, I began to feel like a new sense developing inside me: I think that we see the world with different eyes, I surprised myself by observing details previously insignificant, I notice how a hill changes colors during the months and how the lights changes the world around me, second by second.

These were my thinkings when, near sunset, I saw the warm sunrays hitting the beach and the palms with the darkness of that treaty sky behind...everyone left the beach preparing for dinner...maybe I was the only photographer on the island ;)

Ciao Giorgio. Su questa vista giganteggiano luci e saturazione dei colori. Ritengo un virtuosismo le sfumature sulle palme.

Hi Giorgio,
I agree with you, after years here one start to "see" different.
I like here the colours and the contrast with the cloudy sky. I think that the main attraction of the photo is those palms against the sky, for that, I think that there is maybe too much sand & sky at the left of the photo. I tried a different crop in a WS. I hope is it ok with you.

d'accordo con te, in pieno, sul 6th sense di cui parli. Anche io provo la stessa cosa, vedo cose che prima non vedevo!
Questo cielo invece, si vede eccome, ed è molto bello, così come la luce che accarezza la spiaggia.

Hello Giorgio,

The lightning is incredible on the shot. Even more with the difference between the foreground on the light and the deep dark sky in background.
It should have been a nice show.

I like how you copmpose this shot using the prevailing lights and the impending darkness as bode by the darkening of the sky. Your point of view is great too.

Compriendo appieno il tuo punto di vista e sarei uscito anch'io a scattare una foto a quell'ora per cogliere questa luce e questi colori... ma ognuno di noi vive nel suo mondo e guarda le foto degli altri da quella prospettiva: una volta ho pubblicato una foto di una spiaggia, presa più o meno alla stessa ora e con colori simili e mi è stato detto che c'era una dominante magenta...
Intanto io questa me la godo.

Another beautiful picture from Cuba. Very sharp and excellent lighting. Once again the Caribbean seems to be at her best. It doesn't seem like a very busy beach. TFS.
