In Central Havana there is an area that runs from the Capitolio down the Paseo del Prado and borders the Old Town (Habana Vieja) and the Parque Central. Close by is the Hotel Inglaterra - a late 19th Century Neo-Classical building. The Louvre Sidewalk can be found outside with a lovely old cafe where the table tops are decorated with ceramics by modern Cubam artists. The sidewalk is similarly decorated. These decorations have become rather faded but still make interesting viewing. I waited until some people walked passed to add some extra interest.

This is rather jolly, having permanent ceramic tiles laid into a pavement rather than artists composing chalk drawings which will disappear in a few hours. I think that's rather nice.
This is a good capture of the details of a city and is well composed too: the lines of the paving stones and the ceramic tiles lead the eye off into the distance to the left and the walking pairs of legs accentuate that as well. The bright red trousers of the nearest lady add a fine splash of colour.
I did reply to your last forum message but I'm afraid I couldn't really offer any concrete advice. This picture, just for the fun of it, I put into Photoshop Elements 6 and I found that the histogram runs the entire length of the graph. So, even although it looks perfectly exposed to me, Photoshop verifies that it indeed is!

Unusual and I recognise your style. Interesting note and well presented image.

The tiles seem to be washed out by the pedestrians feet. I like the way you composed with 2 persons who seem not to be interested. I would have cropped the top to remove the hand bag.

interesting street art, it was a good idea to include people in the scene, it's a good presentation,

I can see this is a well taken photograph, everything is in focus and the lighting is good throughout. The striking red pant of passersby really invites eyes into the scene. Perfect framing, perspective is great and excellent composition, sharpness and color saturation, Beautifull well observed, a competent image. Congrats
