Photographer’s Note

Plaza de Armas is a wonderful square in Old Havana. It hosts a beautiful antique books market.

Bookshops are not very frequent in Cuba, not many titles are available too. That's the reason why I left the books out of focus

mi piace il contrasto tra le figure umane ben definite ed i libri sfocati.
foto documentaristica che ci mostra un lato poco noto di questo luogo....

La tua serie cubana è un trattato fotografico di sociologia. Sfocando i libri li hai resi quasi irragiungibili per i due soggetti. Forse e così.

Ciao Giorgio,scatto molto bello,prospettiva scelta intelligentemente,ottima realizzazione con la messa a fuoco sui due soggetti,solo che mi sembra che stai esagerando con la saturazione,non so se hai il monitor un po' scolorito,ma questa e le ultime che hai messo su treknature davvero sono supercolorate.E' solo un consiglio...ehehe...buon Martedi',Luciano

It's a pity you can't find many books in some places but again it describes the character of the people there. Excellent frame with their back on us and nice off focus bg.

Hello Giorgio. Two sitting men. One does not see, with which they are occupied. The attraction of this photo lies in its question: reads, if you can. In the transferred sense this concerns also newspapers, mobile phone etc. A good shot and a think-worth photo at the same time. Best regards, Wolfgang.
