Photographer’s Note
This is my favorite and probably the best picture I have ever taken. No photoshoping at that time. I scanned the film (much better result than scanning the photo)and only adjusted exposure compensation to limit the church overexposure.
This place is located in Cienfugos an "industrial" city that I recommand to everybody who enjoys local immersion. Going dancing and partying on saturday night there is a great experience.

I really like this picture too, love how the church really stands out from the rest of the picture. Really cool that a poster of Che Guevara is in the background too.
Good work

Olá Stephanie, wonderful dramatic mood, not only because of the striking contrast of the shinning facade with the threatening sky, but also for the absence of people. It gives the sense of a ghost place..."end of the world approaching" feeling. Che Guevara is a nice detail in the distance, indeed. Excellent result from the scanned film.

Fantastic contrast and deep colors, deeply atmospheric. I also like the Che poster. The whole looks like a movie set, also due to being completely vacant, at this moment, of human life (except that one woman in the lower left corner).
Great pic.

Stephanie,
Really great contrast between the building and the muted sky. Great scanned details. it's hard to get a clear image from a scan. This is really wonderful. I like the colors turn out like old image, give it that classic antique quality. Love it. This really give the essence of Cuba. the place looks so desolated. No one is around. the long shadows evokes sense of loneliness. Somthing about it make me feel kind of Sad. I like it, it stir emotion in me. Great composition and quality is good overall, especially for a scanned image. Thanks Stephanie.
