hi tom,
isn't this interesting? usually the shoeshines are black (or used to be), while here we have the exact opposite situation...
but then again this is Cuba, there shouldn't be any social difference between black, white, pink or gray. or is there?(unless of course the customer is a tourist... he looks somehow better off than the shoeshine guy...)
I particularly like his (the shoeshine's) expression, with his cigar, staring at the shoe...
well captured, it would have looked good also in colour I think.
