Very good shot of this waterfall... not easy to do but here very well done with your small aperture and speed. Bravo!
Bonjour Pascal,
Cette cascade est vraiment magnifique! La pose lente donne un effet remarquable. Une très bonne réalisation, et un excellent cadrage, bravo!
Nice photo. Your comments don't mention if you had a tripod or not. A tripod would really help get the sharpness on longer exposures. What iso setting did you use? On a 35mm equivalent lens you really don't get much smaller aperatures than f/22 or so. I've always tried to 'time' the water takes to fall and use that as a guide for the intended shutter speed. On a waterfall as tall as this, 1/3 of a second isn't enough. You really need to shoot for a longer shutter speed if you are going to capture the water as if it were 'angel hair'. If you were wanting to make the waterfall 'choppy' than you did a great job capturing that. Using a natural density filter and/or a polarizing filter will allow for longer shutter speeds as well. I'll do a quick workshop on this when I get some time to show some additional post processing you could use to make this image really pop. I like the image...very well done.
