I like the colours in this photo.
But the lack of depth-of-field is a worry. If you had closed the aperture down, and used a slower shutter speed, you would have had a better focus on the background, and got a bit of movement of the arm, which would not be a problem. A crisp horizon would have been nice, in my view, thats all.
Just my thoughts. But I do love the colours.

there's more to this shot than first meets the eye. just enough detail in the shadows to flesh it out. very nice color and motion too.

I like the colors. I actually like the lack of depth of field as it isolate the fisherman doing a lonely work. It is nice to see the shine of the line.

i agree with alain, i like that the background is blurred so that the fisherman stands out better. I especially like how the fishing line has caught the light.
