Correos y Telégrafos de Costa Rica
Costa Rica’s Post Office and Telegraphs this building was terminated in 1917 with a cost of 27.114 pounds. On October 14th 1980, was declared the "Edificio Central de Correos of San José" as Relic of Historic and Architectonic Value. Sadly the building is not in a good shape.
To be a post person in Costa Rica is a bit difficult due to the fact that addresses use a point of reference not and Street # and house # for example ( From MacDonald’s 100mtrs north 50mtrs west green door house) As you can imagine the reference changes and the colour of the house can change. Luckily the post person usually works for many years and will know its root very well.
I did a bit of work on the picture cleaned a bit and removed the building behind I hope you like it I did put the original picture on the workshop

Ridiculous note. Such a clear object of Art Nuovo, but such a strange system of addresses! Interesting.

It's surprising if anyone gets their mail in this case - Very interesting.
Excellent PP work not only the removal of the highrise but the work you did to bring out the detail in this remarkable building. I hope someone will do some restoration on it before it falls into total dis-repair.
