San Jose is the capital and largest city in Costa Rica. Founded in 1738 it is one of the youngest capitals in Latin America. It has a populaton of approximately 350,000. The downtown area is a busy pedetrian only area. There are many museums, churches and other points of interest here. The was one of many churches and museums that we drove by in a tour bus, thus the window in the bus took out the peak on the steeple. I think it is one of the larger churches that we drove by.

The lamposts and the trees are framing well the church. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the church. The afternoon light is bringing out the colors. I am leaving for Varadero this afternoon back on the 27, have a good weekend.

This photo is horrible. It seems like it was taken by a child.
