Photographer's Note
Having never really tried to capture "fast moving" wildlife, I thought this would be a perfect country to try.
I can tell you now, this little fella was very evasive. Using a new camera, it took me two days to get a half decent shot (learning the camera's capabilities, etc).
I had to use ISO 800 to account for the time of day (30 minutes before sunset), the zoom at 30x, the (now realised) pathetic aperture range (3.4-8.0), to enable me to get a decent shutter speed; he just would not keep still.
Believe it or not this was my last shot before I was going to call it a day.
I can tell you, I was ecstatic that I managed to get this spot on. There has been no cropping or adjustments of any kind.
I'll say, this is one of those shots that has satisfied me the most!
