Photographer's Note
Costa Rica's Tárcoles River is a haven for wildlife, including many crocodiles, snakes and thousands of tropical birds. You can see the denseness of the jungles in this photo. Fortunately there are boats you can ride down the river to its mouth, and the guides will point out all the wildlife visible from the river.
