Destiny: the Sun, a photo from Puntarenas, West

Photographer's Note

When I came to Costa Rica 10 years ago the train was forgotten and eliminated practically as way of transport and load. Today before the crisis of the oil the railroad is resumed as way of university transport that crosses the city , and even as tourist trip to Puntarenas's port.
I am sure that Iris Odio (tucancr) might extend with more foundation this note.

Tren con destino al sol
Cuando llegué a Costa Rica hace 10 años el tren estaba olvidado y había practicamente desaparecido como medio de transporte y carga.Hoy ante la crisis del petróleo se reanuda el ferrocarril como medio de transporte universitario que atraviesa la ciudad en hora pico, e incluso como viaje turístico al puerto de Puntarenas.
Estoy convencido que Iris Odio (tucancr)podría ampliar con más fundamento esta nota.

Una linda perspectiva hacia el sol Rafael. Me gusta mucho la idea, creo que la foto tiene algo de ruido, pero el conjunto es muy hermoso. Saludos desde Madrid.

Como estas? Ayer vi tu foto pero sin tiempo para comentarla. Me llamo la atencion por la perspectiva.

Tenes razon, si he estado en el tren a la tica, y desde el punto de vista turistico y fotografico, es una excelente alternativa para disfrutar de paisajes que solo se pueden ver desde un tren, al no haber carreteras del todo en ciertos trechos.

After reading your note,the rising sun is like a new dawn for the railroad,which is seeing a new life.
Good composition with the offcenter railroad taking our eyes towards the new day.

Well found PoV for a sunset, making use of the tracks in the compo, and interesting note, I always to hear of railways being brought back into service, expecially as a practical means of transport.

Skies reflected in rails - a winning combination, especially when they are used to make such a dramatic composition.

I visited your gallery today.You have captured wonderful sunsets.This one I like because I have special love for railways.I cant see sleepers supporting rail.Are these covered with soil/stones?
Golden sun light at far end looks geat.Well timed.TFS
