Costa Rica has wisely set aside and protected about one fourth of its total country with national parks and preserves. This creek meandering through San Carlos Valley is a fine place to escape to for Nature's deities.

beautiful earthy shot, not only the river and the forest, but also the moss growing all over the rocks. I would imagine this is a great place to escape from a summer sun and get some nice cool river air. very nice composition as the river leads into the depths of the shot like this.
All the best

what a beautiful place. I like nature and water streams like that. You got a nice light inside the forest.

So this is where you've escaped to. What a beautiful place, not a type of landscape I'd normally associate with Costa Rica. The green tones, clear water and mossy rocks create such a wonderful atmosphere of coolness and tranquillity. Excellent shot, lucky you.

Costa rica is indeed one of the country of the world with the highest% of protected areas. Lushy ripariab forest, a humid habitat in the volcano area, mosses are growing on the river stones, regards
