and back to the lazy life aboard the ship. Lazy is the word! Sunbathing, drinks and food, casino, more food, games, beer and food. More food again..it was a fantastic experience despite i gained weight:( Unfortunately it is only one day visit in the new ports but it can give an idea if it is worth to return for a longer stay.

J'aime bien l'originalité de cette photo, les deux ferry créent un espace intéressant peuplé des gens pręt ā monter ā bord.

It gives me a bit an oppressive feeling to be enclosed between these two giants.
The picture has a very good perspective and wonderful bright colours.
I wonder if I would love this kind of holiday ... I don't know. Looking at the other pictures in your gallery and considering the places you have visited, I'm a little surprised that you enjoyed that life on the ship. But OK, as long as I did not experience it, I can not judge.
Best regards, Paul

Good perspective in the middle of the two ships, making up a good composition. Good work, and congratulations!

This are two fantastic ships, yes eat, drink and much evening activities are the characterize of an cruise.
You chose a very well angle, exactly between the two ships with a lot people, this gives a extra touch to the picture.
Excellent composition, you chose a very well angle.
Nice done, TFS.
Have a nice day,

Oh, I really understand about lazing, food, drinking and more food. My husband and I travelled across the Atlantic on the QM2. Your experiences sound very much like ours!
Your viewpoint works well creating a very good sense of perspective, carrying us from the f/g of the berthed ships, right to the edge of the sea. The inclusion of people gives information about the climate, the mood and helps us understand the scale of the ships.
My warm regards,
I bet you had a great time!

do you see the Irony in this photo in your gallery?
You have several photo's of very very poor places around the world, then sandwhiched in between them is this Cruise Ship scene.
very ironic :)
could you imagine what the poor people living in the slums would think about 'white' people traveling around the world in an oversized boat full of entertainment, an over abundance of food - when for them daily-food could possibly be a struggle, non stop beverages and to a simplier degree non stop Water to drink!
its outrageous when you actually stop and think about it isn't it. But that IS the society we live in, and perhaps our traveling is taken for granted sometimes, and yes....life is often unfare.
guess there are many subjective ways to look at it.
Personally, i have yet to go on a cruise, but i'm planning one for 2014, so i'll finally get a taste of it.
interesting photo, as we see 2 cruise ships, but hardly see any water :)
great to hear you're going to Las Vegas!! Not sure if you've been there or not. Its sort of like a non-floating cruise :)

The spirit of holidays is fully convied by those juxtaposed cruise ships and you chose the best angle to show thier first magnitude enliven of the enthousiasts passengers.
Many compliments for the symmetric view.

I like very much and admire this composition in which everything works superbly. The perspectives of the huge boats are very attractive and full of interesting details all along. The sky and the wharf have acquired a very dynamic aspect too. Your timing in capturing the walking people was excellent, the placement of the people leads our glance in a decisive way. The depth and the clarity of lighting and colours are wonderful too. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a good night,
