El torito cabecirrojo hembra (también denominado capitán de cabeza roja o barbudo cabecirrojo) es un ave neotropical de la familia Ramphastidae cuya área de distribución se extiende desde Costa Rica hasta Perú y Venezuela, ocupando zonas boscosas.
Female of the Red-headed Barbet (Eubucco bourcierii) is a species of bird in the Ramphastidae family. It is found in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forest. The diet of the red-headed barbet may include bananas and other various fruits.
