Photographer’s Note
Poas Volcano is an active stratovolcano in central Costa Rica. There are two crater lakes near its summit. Poás has erupted 39 times since 1828. The volcano is located within the Poas Volcano National Park. It is considered the largest active crater in the world, about 1 mile (1.6 km.) wide and 320 meters deep, with frequent geyser-like eruptions.

Hello Daniel,
Sorry, was just coughing from the fumes!
Wow! This is an exciting and potentially dangerous place! The clouds are very dramatic and the rocks, rugged and jagged!
I like the way you have set the crater off-centre so the fumes can drift into the rest of the frame!
How did you get above it?
