This is Silk Cay, a string of tiny islands along Belize's barrier reef, about 20 miles offshore from Placencia. Good snorkeling around the islands, and great scuba-diving further out, where the reef ends and the wall of coral descends into the depths.

This island seems a paradise on earth. Excellent composition, nice colors - I like the blue tones. Ther light is perfect here.

A ginclear tropical postcard from what I suppose still is a quite corny country.
a bit of an carribian icon with all igrediences.

Hi Chris,

it is a lovely beach. I like the composition and colors. I am sure the scuba diving was great. Have you swam round sharks and stingrais? Or perhaps you saw barracudas?
