Photographer’s Note
Awaiting my flight back from San Pedro to Belize, I shot at least 30 frames of this guy at the end of my telephoto lens. This is the closest I came to getting the effect I was aiming for: the intricate geometric patterns of the concrete contrasting with his bronzed, hard-working form. Love the ability to sneak a shot like this without being visibly intrusive.
==================
Unsharp mask and adjusted colours to reduce the blue. Distortion correction to square up the bottom railing, with a slight crop after the fact.
