Belize, boat from Belize City to Caye Caulker. These are German Mennonites, members of one of many such communities scattered around Western Hemisphere. They emigrated in 18th and 19th century from poor Germany and because of strong respect for tradition and religious hermetism, they preserved old customs, ways of dressing ( a bit weird for tropical climate ) and language as it was spoken in Germany more than hundred years ago

kurcze, ale ci zazdroszczę tych wszystkich wyjazdów, u mnie jakoś przez ostratni rok byla niesamowita plaża, może teraz sie coś zmieni (taka mam nadzieję);
dobre zdjęcie, takie z kategorii "candid" a jednak czuć bliskość autora fotografii i modeli;

Hej Swiatek. This is interesting because I thought this was taken somewhere in the interior of the country, near Guatemala. I would have never thought that Mennonites would be around Caye Caulker (or even in Central America, really... I have only seen them in Paraguay, where i think are the most). Anyways, the moment of the conversation is good, very engaged and I like their simple clothing and the hats suggest some Central American influence.

So simple and so attractive. This one is very natural and looks very nice.

Simple, but very good.
