This is the end of the island in Key Calulker.
The air was fresh and the sunset start in this moment, so was a perfect place to sit in there and just feel the wonders than this place give to you.
I hope do you enjoy it this picture. |

Hi Elias,
I think your photo would have benefited from either an earlier point in time BEFORE the sunset, which might have brought more vividness in the colours (blue sky, sun reflections in the water, and perhaps some more lighting on the branches on the right). Or else a later point in time actually DURING the sunset, where -and now I'm on thin ice because I can't see what happened afterwards- you could possibly have captured the orange glow of a setting sun. What I'm trying to say is that a different point in time might have given you a bit more contrast in the photo. As for composition, I do really like this, as well as your choice to include some branches on the right. Thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Gerd

I see Gerd's point about the light being flat, but I think this is ok. You were in a situation where the sun was blocked by the clouds, but this lighting very well represents the moment here, and to me this is very much what this website is all about. I think you have captured a wonderful moment here that represents this place very well. I really like the way part of the pier as hanging low. If everything was perfect it would not be such a good representation of the laid-back attitude that the Belize people tend to have. Bravo amor. -David
Hi Elias,
I think there's enormous potential in this shot and I do like the way you've composed it. Your pov is excellent with the walkway leading the eye to the end where I can imagine my lady and I sat on those colourful chairs. I know some of the points have been highlighted but I've put it to WS, I hope you don't mind. A fine composition and well seen.
Regards
Stephen
