Photographer’s Note
This is another view of the sunset from Sandy Lane. This one was taken about 5 minutes before the other one I posted and has a completely different feel to it. I held my camera steady by placing it on a table (no tripod as yet) and took shots one after the other. It amazed me how quickly the sun disappeared behind those clouds.
No post processing apart from sharpening very slightly.

despite a typical subject, the picture is very interesting. Good composition and colours. It has a bit mysterious atmosphere!

I think it's a beautiful photo. I love the full sun with some clouds around. Nice composition and colors.

Hi Abigail, you should be very proud of this picture! Wonderful colors and nice composition! I bet it would look great in a panoramic format, if you cropped some of the bottom of the picture. Also maybe a little bit of NeatImage to reduce the grainy texture?

Great shot. I think the grain could be a bit finer. Maybe Neat Image could solve this. Other than that the colours are really nice.

good shot man.i hav also tried similar shots n silhouettes which i shall be posting in a few day.hope u check them out.i liked ur shot a lot but would hav liked it more if its focussing and highlight handling was a bit more better.
