Photographer’s Note
I took this a couple of years ago. I really like the brightness of the sea against the threatening clouds.
About 5 minutes after this picture was taken we had to endure a 15 minute heavy downpour.
But as soon as the last drop fell, the Skies returned to blue, and we got back to the beach!

The color of the sea is dramatic against the black sky. You could have cropped out the lamppost in the foreground (it is distracting)and straighten the horizon. It has a tilt.

I love the dark mood you've captured in the lovely place. The sky is so dark and grey making the contrast of the light green water almost sparkle. When I visited Mexico I was amazed how like you said, the rain comes down very hard, and then just like magic disappears. Here once it starts raining, it seems to drizzle on all day!
Excellent capture of the weather of the day.

Hi Alan,
Very cool capture - I always like the contrasting light when a storm is coming. The horizon is tilted a touch, and I would have cropped the front a bit. Otherwise a spectacular photo!
Cheers,
Alli
