Spectacular sunset indeed... The remarkable thing about this photo is that the colors on the sail are like a map of the colors in the photo - blue at the bottom, red in the middle and then blue again!

Jon,the way your note sounded, it reminds me of the lyric from the song "The Street Of London".

The sunset would not be so dramatic, so lively, without that catamaran's silhouette passing by. Just goes to show, a human figure or anything relating to it, makes a scenery a little bit "alive".

Nice to see this amazing sunset in the frontpage of TE, Jonathan.
It's really superb! The colours are fascinating and specially the yellow in the back looks like a huge fire is going on. And yes, lucky for you to get the caterman. It really adds a plus to this wonderful composition.

And what a final day you had! The colors are magnificient. I spent a summer in Barbados many years ago and don't think I ever had the privilege of seeing such a beautiful sunset. You captured it magnificently! The silhouette of the sailboat brings a story to the shot -- where is this boat going ? Who is on it? Why are they out there when it's almost dark? How lucky for them and for you to have seen this work of nature.
