Long Bay in Barbados

Caught a picture of this man fishing on a Saturday afternoon - it's one of the less tourist-ish beaches, and as you can see, it's not ideal for swimming (or surfing) due to a large outcrop of rock to the left of the picture.

However, there's a little islet behind the photographer which is relatively sheltered and surprisingly calm - a number of locals (and "in the know" tourists) can be found there.

Nice work Geoff,
That sea looks amazing..the kind of spot i'd go to to get away from the crowds. I like the composition of this shot, the guy being slightly offcentre and the rocks on the left, contrasting with the beautiful blue of the sea on the right. The detail on that splashing wave is good too.
