| While visiting Freeport in the Bahamas, I came across two Douglas DC3's sitting in some tall grass, partially disassembled and stripped. Always having quite an interest in that particular airplane, I spent most of a day crawling all over them and taking photographs. This is number N90545, a C47 cargo variant built during World War II. It's engines and wing panels outboard of the engines had been removed, as had nearly all of instruments in the cockpit. |
