[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well this is not a very original shot (somebody should start a theme for all the beer/drink shots on this site) but this is what our first hour in the Bahamas looked like. While we were waiting for our room across the street, we came to the Lucaya Marketplace and ended up at this bar called Rum Runners where we had lunch. This Jamaican beer is about as local of a product as you'll see in the Bahamas. The Bahamas produces almost no food or drink and import most of it from the U.S. So just about everything we encountered was the same as what we would see in the U.S. but much more expensive. The only real local dish seems to be conch fritters, conch chowder and other dishes made from this local mollusk.
