Jorge,
good capture, nice colors and the shell looks great.Theres some noise in the background but as this passes for a portrait, not much concentration goes to the background.Nicely done- TFS Vikram

Me encanta la composición de la toma, expléndido sentido de naturalidad.

Very nice colors.

Hi, nice composition with beautiful soft colors! However, I would like to see a note of explanation.
Thanks for sharing!
Erin

grat composition. love the colors.

Very nice combination of pink and blue! Great composition and point of view! Very good use of DOF!

Regards,
Eddie

I like your wonderful composition in this very nice colour of sand, sea and sky with the beautiful shell
Achim

Lovely shot, I like that shell..just one my grandma has..
Good sharpness, strong composition. Good DOF and a nice background to look at, clever positioned like this.
TFS, Well done!

I have to go against the "mainstream" to say that there are a number of things I dislike in this photo.

First, you didn't include the whole shell for just a tiny bit, which I think was unecessary - either put it all or crop it hard... I would rather not see the wood pole...

Second, it's a good thing to blur the background and emphasize the foreground, but not for the sake of the quality; I would say that the sea + waves lack too much quality.

Third and last, I don't think that there's anything really interesting in this photo. I would have either concentrated in photographing the shell in the sand and/or water or in the heavy clouds and colouful sea.

You could also have added a note, even a simple one...

I hope to have been of some help
Cheers

Hello Jorge,

C'est vrai que si le coquillage avait été entier ça aurait été beaucoup mieux...
mais qu'est ce que c'est beau tout de même!
les couleurs et ce fond presque inquiètant de ciel tourmenté.
Bravo
