Dear Enoch, first of all welcome to TE.
Concering your photo, I understand your great sensation while sailing on your boat, but your picture does not tell much about it. It is just almost sea and sky, with a rather faint piece of land. I think that in photography one should always keep in mind that there is a huge difference between what your eyes and soul were seing and feeling at the moment you clicked, and what it actually comes ouy on the picture.
