Photographer’s Note
The historic octagonal library in Nassau.
This is one of the most interesting historical buildings in Nassau to see. This building is situated in the government block in downtown Nassau along with the House of Assembly and the old post office.
The lovely verandah at the top was actually at one time a look out where you could view the entire harbour. The Royal Palms in the foreground were half the size when I was a child. Now they somewhat block the view. These are impressive trees. There used to be many royal palms in Nassau.
One of the great colonial period buildings in Nassau.
