Photographer’s Note
One of my favourite beaches visited on Antigua, this photo was taken on a catamaran trip around the island looking back at Darkwood.
The three palms represent the damage inflicted on the island when hurricane George struck in 1998. Before the storm a long line of palms had stretched across the beach, today only a few stand there ground against further weather beatings.
