Many say sunset pictures are two a penny, but this one is like gold dusk. I know, it shouldn't be allowed, but I just couldn't resist the pun!

Putting the groans that must have caused aside, we did witness a wide variety of sunsets, and this one, towards the end of our holiday produced quite unexpectedly rich golden rays that reflected wonderfully off the sea.

I cropped just a little around the the edges of the picture, and applied the teensiest bit of colour enhancement - only enough to lighten very slightly an already very dark scene.

It sums up our Caribbean experience nicely, I feel. All it needed on the day was a nice glass of rum punch or two to round off the scene and take us into the evening - and guess what....
