Just a shot of a mom and her daughter at the morning market near Rantepao on the big island of Sulawesi. Central Salawesi is beautifully mountainous and has a distinct culture from the other parts of the island.

Nice portraits, undisturbed by the background not too expressive but showing the mom seems a hard labourer as her skin has the leathery redness associated with much exposition to the sun. Glad to see other pix from other Indon places than just Bali and Java (nothing wrong with them)...

hi caleb i like this portrait calbe but i think it needs desaturating slightly in the red area;-) it is much too reddish IMO.. ice attitude of the little girl..;-)

Excellent shot. The girl's eyes are hypnotic! Maybe a little red, but overall minor issue. Presenting your subjects against a textured wall makes them stand out nicely.
